MMMF International Arts & Crafts Fair
Date: The next MMMF Fair will take place in Autumn 2012, exact dates to follow.
Venue: World Bank Main Complex (Preston Auditorium); 1818 H Street NW, Washington DC
Hours of opening: 9:45am-3:00pm
Admission: Free; Public Welcome! Photo ID required!
The MMMF table at the fair contributes substantially to our fund raising activity.
Staff
Bank policy indicates that gifts with a value over $50 given to WBG staff cannot be kept and have to be turned over to Bank custody. We encourage staff to indicate that they would like to donate such gifts to the MMMF Fair. We also would appreciate if they could, at the time of gifting, tell us the approximate value and provenance. Such stories increase the value of the item and facilitate the sale at our MMMF donation table!
General donors
Please think of the MMMF Fair before throwing or giving away gently used items. These items will be sold at the MMMF Table and all the proceeds from the sale (net of DC sales tax) will benefit the MMMF's programs.
Items should be clean and in good resalable conditions, with possible value and provenance. A donation tax letter will be provided by MMMF if needed.
