MMMF Application Process South Africa

Online Application Form - currently closed, reopening in spring 2012

The application process for the South Africa grants for the academic year 2012 has been closed. We will reopen the applications for the academic year 2013 in the spring 2012. Please click here to have a look at a Draft Application.

 

Selected recipients for the South Africa educational grants 2012 will be notified in December 2011 at the earliest.

 

A completed application includes the below (besides the above online application):

Online Recommendation (Deadline: see above)

Two (2) online recommendation forms are required. One must be by a professor from your present institution. The other can be by a former professor/supervisor from your country or elsewhere. One of the individuals must have known you for at least two semesters. Referees must click here to download, complete and submit the recommendation forms directly from their professional e-mail address.

Mailing Package

The following documents are required and must be mailed together in one envelope to the MMMF, postmarked no later than the due date of the application (see above):

  • Your most recent transcript/academic report (available from the Registrar's Office of your University)
  • Your University Registration for the relevant year of your application
  • One (1) passport-size photograph
  • Picture page of your passport (for all foreign students) or national identification document for South African students
  • Study Permit for South Africa (not applicable for South African students)
