Get involved, volunteer with the MMMF!
Most of the work of the MMMF is done by volunteers drawn from the World Bank Group. Hundreds of WBG family members and staff have contributed their time and talents to make the MMMF successful.
How can you get involved?
MMMF has always depended on volunteers to carry out its most important activities. Volunteers serve on the Board, on Selection Committees and Panels, and on Financial Committees, which all depend on more formal recruitment processes and longer term committment.
There are also more occasional, one-time opportunities such as—importantly—carrying out the Crafts Fair and recipient Forum and helping with research, office tasks and outreach.
- Maintain MMMF website: previous website experience required
- Create publicity materials: write articles, design brochures, work on the MMMF Annual Report, organize MMMF photos
- Assist with office administration
- Assist with MMMF International Arts & Crafts Fair: an annual fall fundraiser at which volunteers sell doorprize tickets, serve as runners and cashiers, help with Fair logistics
- Assist with the planning and organization of other MMMF events such as the MMMF Forum in May: help to arrange hospitality for MMMF recipients, work with the MMMF Board on logistics
